Unique Find This was a lucky find at the 2016 Tuscon Gem Show, sitting off to the side in a room full of minerals. 2007 discovery, unique single find with one owner for the last 10 years. There is a small cut face taken off to help it freely stand that is completely hidden from view. The cut piece is included and would serve as a perfect type sample. Perfect caramel brown, one-off, regged out, flow lines and a hole to finish it out. Chain of custody as provided to me by the previous owner Horst Burkard: "The piece was found in 2007 by a family of Nomads at the Hamada of Zag, about 90 km from the Town of Zag. Coming to the town of Zag to buy groceries and supplies for their daily life the Nomads changed the piece against tools and groceries and some cash with the owner of a little shop in the town of Zag. One of my friends who helps me locate fossils, minerals, artifacts, etc in this area saw the piece by accident in the shop and informed me about it. I told him to buy it without seeing it so finally it ended May 2008 in my possession. I sent my friends to the group of Nomads to seeif they have more of that type but they said that this was the only piece they found. They went back to the area but couldn't find anymore . To my knowledge it is the only piece of that type up to date being found."
