I am very pleased to announce that the Meteorical Society has moved NWA 4860 from "provisional" to "official" and we can now offer it as an L4.

One look at this exciting material is all it takes to realize this is something different. It has a jet black matrix dotted and criss-crossed with veins of fresh, shiny metal. LArger pieces show milky variation with the matrix.

A close look and you see the truly uncommon as you notice tiny vugs throughout the matrix, how many chondrites can say that?

These slices have been prepared by master cutter Marlin Cilz and display maximum surface to weight. I have slices from palm sized to cookie plate sized to fit any collectors budget.

Often as collectors we look up at the night sky and wonder, well now you can have the night sky in your cabinet .
